BSP to contend alone in UP bypolls

Mayawati, the chief of Bahujan Samaj Party said that the party decided to contest alone in the by-polls in Up where elections were being conducted for 11 seats, adding that this is not the permanent break for the alliance with SP as BSP-SP combination won very poorly with 15 seats out of 80 seats.

She also conveyed that bureaucratic obligations could not be avoided and Samajwadi Party as the Yadav community did not support the party in Lok Sabha elections and her relationship with Akhilesh Yadav is not only for politics as when the alliance has been started both Akhilesh Yadav and his wife Dimple Yadav has treated me very well and I hope our alliance and relationship may continue forever she said.

Mayawati attended a meeting of party associates those who are from Uttar Pradesh admired them to get ready for bypolls on the 11 seats that have degenerated unoccupied after the election of the sitting MLA’s to Lok sabha.

Rajendra Chaudhary a spokesperson from Samajwadi Party said that Mayawati’s decision regarding disintegrating the relationship surprised us as Akhilesh Yadav the chief of the party is on the outing to Azamgarh for thanking people for their support during the Lok Sabha elections.

Salabh Mani Tripathi the spokesperson from BJP said that the union of both SP and BSP is gain opportunity and to perform to play interests in politics and trick common people adding that this alliance is quite opposite of ideology and principles.

The relationship between BSP and SP started in Lok Sabha polls to terminate BJP but could not do that as BJP won 62 seats out of 80 where BSP won 10 seats in 2014 elections. SP won only 5 seats including Akhilesh Yadav and Dimple Yadav.
