Punjab School Education Board which is also known as PSEB was established in the year 1969. The headquarters of Punjab Secondary Education Board is located in Mohali, Punjab. All the school level examinations beginning from class 1st to class 12th were conducted by PSEB.
The exams are conducted in both English and Punjabi. Both private and government schools have their affiliation with the Punjabi School Education Board. As per the examinations and dates announced by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB), the senior secondary class 12th exams are being conducted currently starting on the March 1st and the ending on 27th of March 2019. The PSEB matriculation class 10th exams will also be conducted in the month of starting of March on 15th of March and ending on April 2nd, 2019.
Every year lakhs of students appear for the PSEB matriculation senior secondary exams at the center in the state of Punjab. Last year almost 6.45 lakh students appeared for the matriculation and senior examinations. Traditionally the PSEB matriculation class 10th examination results were announced in the month of May.
This year though there is chatter after a board decision to declare the results fortnight after the exams came to light. Similarly, the Senior Secondary results 2019 are also generally announced in May but this year, it is expected to be announced in April, too.
This year, over 8 lakh students appeared for the Punjab board exams, out of which 3.5 lakh had appeared for Class 12 examinations. To clear the exam, candidates need at least 35 percent marks in the subject. This year, 85.56 percent of students cleared the Class 10 examination, the result of which was declared on May 8, 2019. A total of 2,71,554 cleared the examination successfully
In 2018, the overall pass percentage of the students who appeared for the senior secondary examinations conducted by PSEB was 62.97% and in 2017, the overall pass percentage was 62.36% and in 2016, the overall pass percentage was 76.24%.

After visiting students much select the required result link which redirects to the results page. Students must fill up the required details in the given areas. After filling up they must submit. After submission, the page gets reloaded and results will appear on the screen. They must take out the print out’s of their results which can be used for their future purposes.
