Indian Politician from Maharastra, RadhaKrishna Vikhe Patil is the senior leader and activist from Congress Party and a former leader of the opposition has presented his departure as the member of Lower house on Tuesday.
Radhakrishna is the son of veteran politician Balasaheb Vikhe Patil who is former Union Minister of India. Patil was elected as Educational and Transportation minister in the administration of Ashok Chavan and got re-selected For the ministry of Agriculture and Marketing in the government of Maharashtra in the hands of Prithviraj Chavan Government. He was elected to the constituency of Shiridi in 2009.
The expansion comes surrounding the reports that Patil will be joining his hands with BJP along the coalition of some Congress MLA’s and may swear into Devendra Fadnavis leading state ministry where Patil’s son Sujay Vihke Patil joined his hands with BJP earlier at the time of Lok Sabha and won with the appreciable bound from Ahmednagar Lok Sabha constituency.
Subsequently, when his son joined BJP, Patil resigned from the Leader of Opposition in March and he produced his resignation as an MLA to Assembly Speaker Haribhau Bagade at his office according to the sources.
In 2014, Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil has been elected in assembly elections with the margin of leading around approximately 75000 votes.
