“We will not tolerate these actions…Not now or ever.”
That’s the message cops in Butler County, Ohio, need individuals to listen to after a neighborhood resident discovered a canine on the aspect of the highway together with her mouth duct-taped shut and her throat slashed.
“This is appalling,” stated native sheriff Richard Jones in a press release.
“Words cannot describe the disgust I’m feeling right now,” he added. “We will work diligently to find who did this and seek justice.”
Somebody from Madison Township, OH, discovered the injured pup — dubbed Dani — on Aug. 17 and introduced her to a neighborhood veterinarian, based on officers.
A chip was positioned contained in the canine and used to hint its possession to a shelter in Cincinnati referred to as HART Rescue. The shelter instructed cops that they “adopted the canine out” in 2011.
“We will not tolerate these actions,” wrote Sheriff Jones in a tweet on Friday. “Period. not now or ever.”
Authorities offered an replace on Dani’s situation Saturday, saying the pooch was “doing well.”
“The Sheriff loves animals and takes cases like this very serious,” a press release stated. “As far as adopting her, we are working on getting her better right now.. Thank you all for your kind words and support and we’ll keep you updated on her progress and possible adoption information.”
Fb customers have been simply as disgusted by what occurred to Dani as Jones was.
“I’m SO SICK of seeing this kind of S$&T!!!” stated one individual. “It is disgusting and as a dog mom of 2 I can not even fathom how anyone can do this!!!”
One other person wrote, “This is just so heart breaking…. a person who does something like this is a coward to pick on a defenseless animal who only loves unconditionally.”
The Butler County Sheriff’s Canine Warden has been probing Dani’s discovery as an Animal Cruelty Case, based on officers.
“Please help us find out who did this,” stated Sheriff Jones.
