Istanbul, Turkey: 

Turkish air strikes hit Kurdish militant targets in northern Iraq, Ankara’s defence ministry stated Tuesday.

The ministry stated on Twitter that “nine terrorists were neutralised” in air strikes within the Hakurk and Hafta areas. 

There have been earlier strikes, introduced late Monday, within the northern Iraqi area of Gara, the place “three terrorists were neutralised”.

The strikes have been a part of common raids in opposition to Kurdish militants in Iraq and unrelated to deliberate operations in opposition to Kurdish forces in northern Syria.
